This is Alex Johnson. Alex likes to utilize most of his time in the library during the week because he likes the atmosphere of no distractions. This way he can get things done efficiently and correctly. When asked if he could give one piece of advice to a large group of people, he said that in life it is okay to fail and that we as people can learn better from our past failures. Something Alex is proud of is that he lost forty pounds and still to this day is working out at 6 a.m. every weekday. His biggest struggle so far, while at school, is getting a sufficient amount of sleep at night. Waking up at six every morning is a commitment that most people would struggle with and it can definitely take a toll on you later in the day. Alex chose Mankato for several reasons starting with its close to his hometown, Shakopee, MN. He finds MSU reasonably affordable and likes their Law Enforcement program very much. His biggest fear in life is getting wildly lost in the ocean. The feeling of hopelessness that would create would be unsettling. The thing Alex loves most about life is his feeling of control and how he can go whichever direction he would like because the opportunities are endless
