This is Nicole. Nicole is a Sophomore at Minnesota State University Mankato and she wants to become a high school English teacher, and hopes to teach as a college professor. Ever since she was young, she has aspired to be a teacher. Teaching has been in her family for generations and generations; teaching anything from kindergarten to college. But two teachers in particular have influenced her decision on becoming a teacher. She had Professor Olseth and Professor Schara when she was a freshman at Riverland Community College in Austin MN. These Professors taught Nicole about English and speech in an interesting and fun way, and later made her realize her passion for English. Nicole said, “These educators inspired my love for English, and made me want to inspire other people to expand their thinking and have fun with school. One day I hope to teach students like they had taught me.”
